Awww, Adorable!!!

Isn't this the most adorable picture you've ever seen? This is my husband and my darling nephew Austinn Grant O'Brien. ;-) He will be four in August and he's getting bigger and more adorable every day. (This would be Austinn, and not my husband - although my husband sure does get more adorable each day himself!!) I love them both so much, and wanted to post them on my blog. We celebrated my mother's birthday last Sunday (yay Mom!!) and we had such a fun party at my sister's beautiful home. Grant cooked us an amazing meal (I still think he should open his own restaurant.) and we had a blast!!! My mother is looking great!!! Her best friend was visiting from Utah and spending time with Mom, so it was nice to have her there.
I will share more pictures and experiences later... work beckons me...

But meanwhile - ADORABLE!!!!! Don't drool too much on this picture ;-) I love you Bob and Austinn!!

Life is Beautiful...

Happy 40th Birthday, Ken!

Ken is the funniest, most wonderful brother in law anyone could ever ask for. He married my older sister Heidi, and now - 16 years later, they have 4 adorable children. Jordan, Conner, Brennan and Ally. This is my absolute favorite photo of their family! Brennan is right on top of Dad, with Jordan on top of him. Ally is the gorgeous blond next to her mommy, (another gorgeous blond, I must add. Good looks run heavily in our family) and Mom is holding Conner. Isn't this a great picture? We had a fun party at Ken's mother's house to celebrate his 40th birthday (can you believe that I said no to the cake and ice cream?) with Ken's family, our family and the family dog. Ken is hilarious and his family kept us laughing all night long. I am so glad that our familes are eternal, and that we can all keep each other close forever. Heidi made a great pick when she chose Ken to be her husband. ;-) Ken, you rock!

Life has been so beautiful, literally. My husband did the most wonderful thing in honor of our upcoming 12th anniversary. (We were married on June 29, 1996 - the same date as my Daddy's parents.) We were walking around the mall and we found ourselves standing in front of Zales diamonds. Bob was holding my hand and telling me how beautiful I was, and how he wanted to make me happy. He always makes me happy, no doubt. But he really wanted to do something special to celebrate our anniversary. So what did he do? Well, I ended up walking away that afternoon with a gorgeous one-carat diamond ring on my left finger!! I could not believe it. It is the most incredible piece of jewelry that I've ever owned - I'm so afraid to wear it in public in fear that I may just loose it or something! I couldn't stop staring at my finger, nor could I stop staring at my husband's handsome face. He is such an amazing man. He even got down on his knee and asked me to marry him again. I told him that I would only marry him if he agreed that I loved him more. He didn't really like that. ;-) But still, I said yes. I would marry Robert Justus over and over and over again, guaranteed! I am the luckiest girl. And I always will be.

I love you Robert Laymon. Thank you for the 12 happiest years of my entire life. It's been an incredible journey, and it will only get better.

And now for one final picture to end my evening. This is our Galaxy, relaxing on our bed, looking all cozy and cute like she normally does. (when she's not clawing us to pieces LOL~) Bob and I are so happy that she is a part of our family. We will always be grateful for our sweet new friend, Gabriel , who had originally found Galaxy's pregnant mother and took care of her, and the kittens that she bore. Galaxy had three other siblings. Gabriel did a wonderful thing - he loved them and wanted them to have good homes, and fortunately our house became one of them. He desperately wanted to keep them, but his and his sisters allergies would not allow them to stay. I admire him for his strength and courage that it took him to give his babies away. I will always be grateful to him. Thanks Gabe - you are defintely our angel!! ;-)

And this is our angelic kitten. ;-)

I love my happy happy joy joy life! I love my family so much. I love my husband with all my heart. I love my religion. I love my friends. I love the place where I work. And I especially love my God. Yes, life is truly beautiful...
