A Proud Aunt must share!!!

Okay, so now I'm having some fun blogging and adding video clips. I took more movies and pictures of Austinn at his birthday party last weekend, and as a proud Aunt it becomes my preogative to share him with the world and to show him off. I'm not sure how many people read my blog anyway LOL~ so really it's all for me to see - I enjoy skimming over different blogs, including my own, as I sit at work and get restless, and I need to watch things to make me smile. ;-) And this video will work every time. I love my Aussie. We gave him a bunch of Incredible Hulk accessories which he just loved.

Tonight I spent some time with my best friend and her family. I cannot believe how big our precious little Shori is getting. She is smiling and coo-ing and becoming even more adorable than the day she was born - which I thought would be utterly impossible. There's no way that Laura will ever let me adopt her now. ;-) I will post more pictures of her this weekend. Meanwhile, my hubby and I are taking a short road trip to Wyoming this Labor Day weekend to visit with members of his family. So Bon Voyage and happy weekend to all!!

My Aussie!!

Happy 4th Birthday, Aussie!! ;-) We call him Aussie because his father is from Australlia. I can't believe my nephew is already four years old. Isn't he a cutie? I was in the delivery room with my sister on the day he was born. I took a video of his birth, and watched as his parents held him proudly in their arms and named him Austinn. I watched him grow over the years, and I loved every minute of our time together. And I still remember the day when he first said things like "Aunt Jen" and "I love you." It still tingles my entire skin to hear it. I love being his Aunt. I am so happy that he is a part of my life. We try to visit him at least once a week. And it's cute when his father, my brother in law (who is from Australlia, like I mentioned, and has the most gorgeous accent) asks him, "Who is your favorite Aunt and Uncle?" he will smile and say, "Jen and Bob!" I just love it! Anyway, we celebrated his birthday with the entire family. Grant made the most amazing cake (look at the dry ice coming out of the middle.) and he also cooked the most wonderful meal. It was so much fun! We also celebrated the wedding of my younger sister Heather and her new hubby Nate. (I will show you some pictures later) I love my family so much. They are the greatest blessings of my life.
