Happy Birthday, Ally...

...and what a happy birthday party it was, indeed. My niece Ally is already six years old. (I can't believe how quickly the years roll by.) My sister Heidi held a groovy party for her and all her buddies at their home in Parker. Ally was so happy - she got her ears pierced the night before, and she was so proud to show off her new earrings. Here is a picture of Ally blowing out her sparkling candles. Isn't she a cutie? I'm impressed with the beautiful young lady Ally is turning out to be. It was such a blast to watch her and her friends! The kids broke a pinata outside, had cake and ice cream, and danced around in the living room to Ghostbusters. What a riot! Heidi is such a wonderful mother - I hope if I ever have children in this lifetime, that I can be the kind of mother she is. ;-) I took a picture of her surrounded with the kids - she is very good at teaching her kids to send thank you cards to those who bring gifts. I admire her so much. (And look how skinny and pretty she is! Golly, I love my sis!)

This is my favorite picture of Bob, Austinn and Ally at the party. I was happy Johnna and Grant came to the party, and I could see them two days in a row, since we hung out the night before with them at my mother's house. Austinn is four years old now and he loves to hang on his Uncle Bob's arm. (When I asked Austinn how old he was, he says "Four pounds.) Too cute!! ;-)

My sister Johnna really has her hands full now with the new baby. (And who wouldn't love to have their hands full with sweet little Ryker, who is such a good baby and hardly ever cries!?) I thought this was a really cute scene - how my mom fed Johnna so she could eat and feed Ryker at the same time. They crack me up!

It was an awesome party and a perfect way to spend our Saturday afternoon. After the party, we drove my Mom to her piano student's house so she could teach piano. (we were kinda late leaving Heidi's house, therefore my poor mom was late!! Oooops!) Anyway, we proceeded to spend our evening with Johnna, Grant and the boys. We watched a movie at our house, had dinner and spent time together admiring the new TV and playing with the boys in my Barbie room. (ha, ha!) It was the perfect ending to a perfect day, and a wonderful week. Here is a cute picture I took of Johnna and her boys. Golly, they are too cute! I sure use those words alot, don't I? ;-)

I love my family so much. ;-) More to come later! Till next entry~
